With the power
supply being one of the most important parts of
a computer, you cannot afford to install a
damaged or defective unit. Corrupted data, blue
screens of death, and even severe system damage
can result from incorrect power being supplied
to your computer.
Encased in sturdy
aluminum, the EZ Power Supply Tester allows you
to check the power from your 20pin or 24pin
motherboard, 8pin, 6pin, 4pin and SATA
connections. LED indicators let you know if
power is being supplied on each voltage rail,
and a master PG LED informs you of the overall
result.
Note:
This product is designed only for power supply
output tests. Do not leave it connected to the
power supply for long periods of time
unattended. It generates heat and could possibly
damage your power supply.

In Depth- The EZ Power Supply Tester is housed in aluminum, which makes it quite light. On the front of the unit are some instructions as well as a bunch of clearly labeled indicator LEDs. On each of the four sides are different plugs. When facing the front of the unit, the right side has the main PSU plug. Here you will plug in either your 20 or 24 pin connector. On the bottom is the plug for a four pin molex connector. On the left are plugs for p4, p6, and p8 connectors as well as a floppy connector. On the top is a plug for a SATA connector.
Testing-
After plugging in my PSU, I took its 20 pin connector and plugged it into the EZ tester. The unit made a beeping noise and all indicator LEDs on the right of the unit lit up. That's a good sign.
I then proceeded to test the rest of the connectors on my PSU in less than five minutes. The EZ PSU Tester's greatest strength is its ability to very quickly test the health of your PSU.
Overall The EZ PSU tester was
great. It was able to do exactly what it says on the
packaging both quickly and easily. The main drawback of this
product is not a fault of the unit itself, but I though I
would mention it anyway. This is a product that I imagine
would not get very much use. As I mentioned before, it works
great, but if you have something like a multimeter, this
isn't shouldn't be the most pressing purchase for you.
